Meet the Team

At Tidor Kids Foundation, our story is deeply personal. We’re more than just immigrants who have left Haiti—we are dedicated to giving back to the country that shaped us. Our mission is driven by a profound commitment to empower the next generation of Haitian children, ensuring they have the opportunities we were fortunate to find.

I, Michelle, moved to the USA in my early 20s, carrying with me the weight of leaving behind a homeland I loved but needed to escape. Blessed with new opportunities, I pursued a modeling career, walking the runways for some of the most influential designers at New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week. Yet, amidst the glamour, I quietly realized that this platform could be a powerful tool to raise awareness for the people of Haiti who are so close to my heart.

A few years later, I knew I had to do more than just raise awareness—I had to act. That’s when I decided to focus my efforts on supporting my country, and Tidor Kids Foundation was born. Our foundation is my way of ensuring that the children of Haiti can dream, thrive, and build a brighter future.
